Train-the-trainer programmes – designed to equip Dental Care Professionals (DCPs) with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively train primary school teachers to deliver The Magic Dentist oral health education package to children. Experienced trainers, DCPs and magicians will lead these programmes, sharing their expertise in instructional techniques, content delivery, fun and messy workshops and magical facilitation methods.
Participants learn how to deliver engaging training materials, tailor the content of the programme to their audience and arena, and employ interactive teaching methods, even learning how to do magic tricks them selves.
The focus is not only on conveying highly engaging teaching but also on fostering effective communication and addressing diverse learning styles. Through practical exercises and feedback sessions, trainees will refine their training abilities and gain the confidence to transfer their knowledge to teachers, creating a cascading effect of skilled oral heath educators within primary schools.
